Now, Monsanto, the large producers like Tyson are all behind this bill which requires small producers and your regular farmers, virtually to report every morsel that they’ve got. They’re going to track every single carrot from the farm to the store and if something happens in the process that that carrot can somehow be construed to be of the cause of any kind of illness, they will track right back through and put the processor out of business and confiscate the farmers land.

So you may be asking well what is the difference between refined flour and 100% whole wheat flour? Well the difference is, refined flour has had the best parts of the whole wheat kernel removed. And that would be the bran and the germ, and then the only thing that’s left is the endosperm. And that middle part (the endosperm) is what makes white flour. And the best parts of the whole wheat kernel which is the bran and the germ – those are the things nutrient powerhouses. They are packed full of fiber and nutrients. Well that is removed to make white flour. And that is why white flour has to be enriched, just to be used as an ingredient in America.
Now let’s go a little bit into the history of excitotoxicity and how this all came about. In Japan they used a flavoring substance for their food called kombu or sea tangle. And this is a seaweed when you dry it you can grind it up. put it in your food and it greatly enhances the taste of the food and that’s been used for a thousand years. No one really knew why it enhanced the taste of food, until 1908 when a research chemist by the name of Ikeda, examined kombu and he discovered that the taste enhancing compound was glutamate. You may have heard of monosodium glutamate, or MSG, well that’s the active compound glutamate. ..because it enhances the taste by stimulating certain cells in the brain and the tongue.
