All these anomalies seem to point to a highly top secret, carefully planned out operation. And would also explain why so many of the media’s reports that would claim to come from federal and local officials, were later claimed to be false. This method would divert people’s attention, and keep them focused on aspects of the case that would lead to dead ends. Or stray them from the truth. To destroy all of the evidence, the crime scenes, both the school and the Lanza home have been seized indefinitely and all records relating to the crime have been sealed by the courts. Sandy Hook Elementary School is also scheduled to be torn down. The ones who control the media, also control the courts and have access to any records and information the rest of the people are withheld from making it hard for anyone to find out what really happened. Because of this we may never know the truth, so it is important we continue to ask questions and demand explanations.

To this date, we have not been shown any video footage from the security cameras that were installed at Sandy Hook which would show exactly what happened. Another incident where we have not seen any video evidence is the Aurora shooting incident involving James Holmes. In similar fashion, witnesses describe multiple suspects as proven on police scanner audio recordings. And details on what the public were told about the case remain highly questionable. Both the father of James Holmes and Adam Lanza have been indirectly linked to the massive Libor scandal, perhaps the largest banking fraud ever to unfold. The father of James Holmes (Robert Holmes) has attributed to creating algorithms which were used to uncover the Libor scandal. And the father of Adam Lanza (Peter Lanza) is the tax director for General Electric, a corporation that paid no taxes last year. And three employees from the department overseen by Lanza were convicted and sent to prison on October 18, 2012. Many people believe the Aurora shooting and the Sandy Hook shooting are related and along with the Sikh Temple shooting, where a lone gunman was announced and multiple suspects were reported by witnesses, are all part of a planned series of shooting events in 2012 to push legislation to ban guns and disarm the public. Because of the multiple suspects witnessed in these three shootings, and the reference to three strike zones on the Batman map, with Sandy Hook clearly listed, people have begun to connect the dots.
Strangely, the props and map creator for the Dark Knight rises, was from Newtown, and died in April of 2012 in a head on collision despite rumors of him being an excellent driver. Many people find his death suspicious and is just another aspect in a long list of coincidence or conspiracy in regards to all of this.

There are so many reasons why people do not believe the official story. And Some of these include: the constantly changing news reports and information regarding the case, the lack of photo and video evidence of the bodies and security footage from inside and outside of the school, the various tweets, fundraisers, tributes, and videos that were posted before the shooting. Multiple suspects and obvious evidence of a group of people involved, the lack of information on Adam and Nancy Lanza, and the conflicting statements and strange behavior of some of the parties involved in this case.

There has been a great deal of speculation in regards to some of these crisis actor claims, and some specific people have been mentioned, such as the Phelps family actually being actors from Florida, belonging to the Sexton family. There is a resemblance when looking at photographs and comparing it to the Phelps video. And several other people have also been associated with other look-a likes. Some of these claims are simply ludicrous however, and mainstream media has wasted no time in ridiculing these claims, targeting anyone who questions the authenticity of the information being stated by the news and mainstream media. By using the crisis actor theory as their ammunition they have caused a large division amongst the public, as many people are quite disturbed over these claims and have now formed the opinion that anyone who disagrees with the official story lacks empathy, and has no respect for the families, or the victims of the crime. and also simultaneously diverts the attentions of people who notice the facts don’t add up and begin to question the authority in these matters. By promoting the crisis actor story, media is also deterring people from questioning the multiple suspects that are involved.

Because of these implications petitions were started addressing the white house with a request to ban all conspiracy theory videos and articles on relation to the Sandy Hook Conspiracy and likely all materials that question these types of events and government in general. If this proves successful, our right to express our own thoughts and opinions, freedom of speech, and essentially other freedoms in life, may also be in jeopardy. We would be forced to accept the lies and deceits spewed forth by government controlled media sources and anyone caught questioning the totalitarian empire would be criminally punished and the term though criminal would no longer be used in relation to fictitious works, but it would in fact be our reality and our way of life. The media has been using attacks on conspiracy theorists, in an attempt to divide and conquer. A commonly used tactic in intelligence and military operations.

On Friday 20th July 2012 James Holmes opened fire in an Aurora movie theatre, killing 12 people and injuring many more. Although this was a horrendous incident for which there can be no justification, evidence has come to light suggesting that James Holmes was just a pawn in a much larger game.

Whilst pursuing a neuroscience doctoral program at the University of Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Campus it is possible that Holmes was subjected to MK Ultra mind control. This would explain the apparent dissociative identity disorder symptoms that Holmes has been displaying; alternate personality (The Joker), and the sedated state he appeared to be in during his court appearance.

The fact that the shootings took place at a midnight screening of Batman: The Dark Knight Rises is oddly fitting as Batman, or Bruce Wayne, also has a split personality. The trauma Bruce Wayne suffered when his parents were killed outside the Monarch Theatre (an illusion to Monarch Programming)

The fact that Holmes is reported to have taken 100mg of Vicodin, the same drug that killed Heath Ledger, is another strange connection.

The esoteric symbolism surrounding the event is also worryingly relevant. The shootings took place at a midnight screening in the City of Aurora; Aurora was the Roman Goddess of dawn and is said to be the mother of the Morning Star, otherwise known as Lucifer. The Dark Knight Rises could be in reference to Lucifer rising at dawn. It has also been noted that the Seal of Saturn is on the front of the theatre; a symbol commonly associated with sacrifice.

Predictive programming is the practice of alluding to future events in a variety of media so that the masses will be more accepting of the event when it finally happens. This is also true in the case of the Batman shootings.

With the UN Arms treaty concerning gun control due to take place on the 27th July 2012, was this shooting orchestrated in order to revoke America gun rights, leaving citizens vulnerable to martial law? An unarmed America would sure make it easier for the elite to round up civilians in order to fill their FEMA camps.

A Colorado university just 16 miles away from the site of Friday morning’s deadly ‘Batman’ massacre staged an identical exercise the very same day in which students were trained how to react to a gunman firing at people in a movie theater.
“Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine is in the middle of holding specialized classes in disaster life support for 150 second-year medical students. Along with response to natural disasters like hurricanes and floods and terrorist attacks, one of the scenarios being used to train the students is how to respond if a shooter fires at people in a movie theater and also uses a bomb in the attack,” reports the Denver Post.

Under a program sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security, police officers were trained to go door to door removing people from their homes with deadly force if necessary, escorting the people to school buses, and being delivered to a decontamination area, usually at a school or local church where the subjects will be hosed down, scrubbed down, given a series of vaccinations and held prisoner until they can be transferred to a more secure facility. The Department of Homeland Security has these programs embedded in the policing communities across the United States just waiting for orders to be given.

You don’t really need to round people up in FEMA camps if you can simply lock them down. I’ll give you one example. The city of Cambridge, I recently interviewed on my radio program a city council member from Cambridge who had given back money that was used to install video cameras. Federal money for video cameras at all the points of egress from Cambridge. And she said why do we need this, and the answer was, well in the event that we have to shut Cambridge down and keep people in, we need to know what the routes are out of the city so we can set up checkpoints and keep people from leaving.

The flu virus, or any type of biological threat, is the perfect cover for martial law and control. Because it’s something that makes everyone a potential threat. It makes everyone a potential carrier, everyone a potential “terrorist” carrying the terrorist virus. This helps us submit to tyranny, it helps us suspect our neighbors. It helps us see our government as our savior and the arbiter. And it divides the people against each other. Those “crazy people” as the CFR has said, that don’t want to take the shots verses the reasonable people that trust their government and understand that we’re supposed to roll up our sleeves when we’re given that order.

The crisis of September 11 saw a major shift in security and other legislation and has nearly singlehandedly brought about the end of privacy in the United States. USA Patriot Act 1 and 2 intruded on no less than 5 of the first 10 Bill of Rights. The John Warner Defense Act saw the end of Posse Comitatus. The Military Commissions Act saw the end of Habeas Corpus. And the REAL ID Act, attached to an emergency appropriations bill, passed with virtually no debate. Also passed during this time and attributed to the need for tighter security was the FISA Amendment Act which gave retroactive immunity to the major telecoms for their role in turning over massive amounts of cell and email communications to United States security agencies at their request. No warrant needed.

It’s not a stretch of the imagination. In fact it’s already beginning to happen where people are being given RFID chips, so that we can, you know, scan you. Now, they always try to present a good reason for doing that. Well, we’ll have your entire medical history. If you fall down unconscious, the doctors will know who you are, what drugs you’re allergic to, they’ll be able to treat you more efficiently because they have all this information. Well, the opposite is also true. If the government has all this information on you, they can also manipulate you by the use of that information. you won’t be allowed to get a job, you won’t be able to buy food, you won’t be allowed to perform any economic transactions unless you have the government RFID chip and are approved. This is one of the things that people have been worried about for a long time. The technology now exists.

Governments are notorious for creating panic to get public support for legislation and emergency measures that the population would not otherwise consider. The United States government is no different. Whether it concerns war with other nations, battling a disaster in our own country, or control over the population during natural or health emergencies, governments instill fear to coerce the population to give up their rights in order to cooperate. The mainstream media is complicit in exciting panic among the people as well. The media’s role during the H1N1 flu scare was clear. The plans are already in place to force the non-compliant public to cooperate. You can be removed from your home by force is necessary, mandatorily quarantined and vaccinated against your will. Your children can be removed from schools and taken to “safe” yet undisclosed locations until it is deemed safe for their return. This is all under the guise of protecting our nation. What has happened to our free country? Little by little we are losing our constitutional rights, yet most Americans are paying little or no attention. People do not understand that these egregious powers are not being proposed, they are already in place, ready for federal, state, or local officials to act upon during a state of emergency. You will not get a say. You will lose your freedom to speak out. You will lose your right to privacy as troops force their way into your home to search without a warrant. You will lose your right to be secure in your home, even if you have plenty of supplies and are prepared to stay. You will lose your right to be armed as troops go door to door, person to person, confiscating your legally owned firearms. You will see military in the streets of this country carrying out the will of an unrestrained government as they round up free U.S. citizens. Some state governments passed measures to forcibly quarantine residents, incarcerate those who refuse to be vaccinated, and to forcibly vaccinate your children. Legislation like this passed during the much hyped H1N1 flu outbreak.
Training has already occurred to carry out many of these measures, reminiscent of the forcing from their homes and the internment of U.S. citizens during WWII. All of this has already happened on U.S. soil. How will you be able to defend your family? How will you react when they cart your children off to an undisclosed location because the government thinks it can protect your children better than you? Will your families survival be up to you, or will it be up to an out of control government and its alphabet agencies, most of which have failed the American people over and over again? Are you going to blindly follow a government that has shown time and time again it has no respect for your constitutional rights? These rights are inalienable and cannot be taken, we cannot give them up, yet Congress and various administrations encroach on our rights all the time. Will you give up your family willingly? Will voluntarily become a captive of one of these quarantines or detention camps? What will you do? Will you go quietly?

The Federal Emergency Management Agency coordinates the government’s role in preparing for, preventing, mitigating the effects of, responding to and recovering from all domestic disasters, whether natural or man made, including acts of terror. Its beginnings can be traced to disaster legislation passed in 1803 to provide assistance to a New Hampshire town following a fire. Following a string of natural disasters in the 60s and 70s, President Jimmy Carter signed executive order 12127 and merged near ten federal agencies into what we now know as FEMA. In March 2003, FEMA joined 22 other federal agencies to become part of Homeland Security. In 2005 Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast and most notably the city of New Orleans. Federal and local authorities encouraged those who could not evacuate the city to go to the Superdome to ride out the storm where there would be assistance to take care of them. This is how your government cares for you. This is a FEMA camp.

Up on screen are photocopies of the Miami Herald. And this goes back to the 1980s when they had congressional hearings dealing with shadow government and martial law. There’s the headline. The secret government and it talks about secret summits and the plans to take over the government. And it shows the people that were in charge of the continuity of government – Dick Cheney and others. And then we have a congressional hearing where we have Congressman Jack Brooks and others during Iran Contra, bringing up the secret plans and they’re told by Congressman Inouye that that can’t be discussed it’s a national security issue.
The truth of the matter is yes you do have those standby provisions, and the plans are there. And the statutory emergency plans are there whereby you could, in the name of stopping terrorism, apprehend – invoke the military – and arrest Americans and hold them in detention camps. -Rep Henry Gonzales

In 1986, under Rex 84, they opened 12 secret army camps to test if they could keep them secret while they held federal, now they hold state prisoners as well. Federal prisoners would then be given a few years off their sentence if they agreed to not tell family about it, and to go to the labor camps. It is a labor camp. And under the revised military rules it allows any U.S. citizen to be put in it under forced labor. Here is the civilian labor camp program Army regulation 210-35. It’s exactly 30 pages long.

This sucker was set up in 1986 at 12 camps. It’s since doubled to 24. And from ’86 to 97 secretly at labor camps, U.S. citizens, non military prisoners were worked on FEMA camps. Now, this was beta testing. They would tell them, ‘You’ll be given leniency and only serve half your sentence if you agree to labor. The minute you don’t you’ll be sent back, on the military bases but you can’t tell anybody. national Security’. You see they were testing ‘Can we keep camps secret from the local police or get them to work with us? Can we keep the camps secret from the media?’ So for 11 years they kept this sucker secret. Reagan, Bush, Clinton. And then Clinton declassifies it in ’97 and they double the number.

Here is Wall Street journal, KBR awarded Homeland Security contract worth up to $385 million, to build 3 1Million person FEMA camps in the United States. It says the ICE Detention and Removal Operations program can be used for illegal aliens and for U.S. citizens and for other emergencies.

That’s really their ultimate agenda, to bring the United States down from the pinnacle of freedom, to simply being another one of these socialist states where the government controls everything.

People don’t get elected to the UN, and that’s the really scary thing. How the hell do you get rid of a UN bureaucrat?

These are the biggest human rights violators in the world and their trying to tell people in the United States that we shouldn’t have certain civil liberties.

But the UN is not pushing its agenda alone. There’s a propaganda machine working everyday, targeting the NRA and gun ownership as evil. It’s called IANSA, the international Action Network on Small Arms. Just log on to IANSA’s website, and you’ll see it’s made up of more than 500 anti-gun NGOs, or nongovernmental organizations. They are absolutely awesome in terms of the power they have. Power and a plot that is being engineered right here in London in that building behind me, where IANSA’s headquartered. Imagine, nearly 230 years after the American Revolution, there are still forces at work here on British soil determined to trample on your freedoms.

The right-left paradigm in the U.S. and U.S. politics is taken directly from the commercial world or the corporate world. In the business world you have Coke-Pepsi. You have McDonald’s-Burger King. You’ve got AT&T-Verizon. You’ve got duopolies. A duopoly gives the illusion of there being some competition and some choice. And it looks a little bit better than monopoly.

Maurice Strong is the man who said that they would never allow another country to rise up as powerful as America will never be allowed to happen again. And he said that the best thing we can do is tear down all the factories, all the top commerce of the United States and level it and give it back to nature. Nations rise and fall. They knew how debt could never be recuperated. They knew that disease and prolonged war could wipe out the population and future populations that pay off debt, so these guys all work together. That’s why it’s no surprise that today you have Lord Rothschild coming out pushing the latest scam or religion that we must all believe in which is global warming. Which his personal bank, his families bank in Switzerland, will be in charge of. They’ve run this system, the whole economic system of the world for the last 2 1/2 hundred years so why shouldn’t they also run the economic system for the next few hundred years.

We’re going into the greatest depression. There will be no job growth. Unemployment will continue to escalate. Along with it so too will crime, poverty, kidnappings, boss-nappings… And the more things spin out of control the harder the hammer is going to come down by the federal government to keep things in control.

To force their agenda through the elites are employing one of their favorite tools, artificial crisis creation, also known as the Hegelian dialectic of problem-reaction-solution.

It’s never been written about in any book that I’ve found as to who gave these guys the authority or permission to be the international bankers of the world. Why would you even need international bankers? Why would any government agree to use them? Why would you need to use them? Why can’t any country create its own money? It tells you there’s already an existing super structure already in existence, maybe two, three hundred years ago to give these guys permission to somehow be the overlords of all money for all countries.

Many people in the freedom movement have whispered, shouted, talked and warned others about the unaccounted for FEMA facilities being built around the country for several years now. Well, it seems like congress is currently facing the issue of opening these facilities and to begin using them for their intended purposes.

The bill will serve as the authorization to open and declare what these facilities can be used for and what they are preparing to do.

The Bill (H.R 645) begins with the Establishment of National Emergency Centers which will mandate that Homeland Security use no fewer than six existing military facilities, in each of the existing FEMA regions, to provide aid to individuals and families in the event of a declared emergency or natural disaster. These facilities will also be to train law enforcement entities, as well as clergy and other entities that will prepare the average citizen for a major event.

These facilities will be required to be equipped for long term stays by citizens. The bill designates an initial funding estimate at 360 Billion dollars for a period of two years.

..and is related to keep our rights to bear arms. On the table now is ammunition accountability legislation, it’s in 18 states and it requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacturer in a database and including all ammunition sales. They will now know how much you buy and what calibers. Remember how Obama said he wasn’t going to take your guns? Well seems that his allies in the anti-gun world have no problem with taking your ammunition. According to ammunitionaccountability.org, the driving force behind this legislation, nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009, unless the ammunition is coded. Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1st, 2011… if they can deprive you of ammo they don’t need to take your guns.

Alex Jones, a nationally syndicated radio show host, received a secret report, from an anonymous, concerned, Missouri police officer. The report was distributed by the Missouri Information Analyzes Center (MIAC). The report instructs the Missouri police to be on the lookout for supporters displaying bumper stickers and other paraphernalia associated with the Constitutional, Campaign for Liberty, and Libertarian political parties. The report said that supporters of this independent, or third parties, are “militia influenced terrorists” and opposed to the North American Union and the New World Order. According to the MIAC, opposition to world government, NAFTA, federalization of the states, and restrictive gun laws are a potential threat to the police. The report reveals that opposition to any of the following, risks someone being classified as a potential “domestic terrorist”: The New World Order, The United Nations, Gun Control, The violation of Posse Comitatus, The Federal Reserve, The Income Tax, The Ammunition Accountability Act, The North American Union, Universal Service Program, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). And…Abortion on demand or Illegal Immigration. Again, if you oppose any of the previously listed, or if you supported Ron Paul – Republican ’08 Presidential Candidate, Bob Barr – Libertarian ’08 Presidential Nominee, or Chuck Baldwin – Constitution Party ’08 Presidential Nominee. You are being labeled a “domestic terrorist”, according to the MIAC.

Left and right mean nothing. The only thing that counts is are you working for Wall Street or are you trying to defend the people against the financiers?

Since Bush the elder made his speech at the United Nations back in September of 1990 talking about the New World Order, I think you become confused about what’s actually going on in the world. The New World Order is a more palatable name for the Anglo-American world empire. It’s the planetary domination of London, New York, Washington – over the rest of the world. It’s hard to get people to join that or think they have a part in it if you call it the Anglo-American world empire. If you called it the New World Order then people in India or some place like that or the European Union might think well there’s something in that for us too. But that’s not what it is. It’s the Anglo-American-New World Order – it’s really the old world order. It’s the British Empire morphing into the American Empire, the U.S./British world empire is what you’re going to get.

If you look also at the people that Obama has put on his appointments list it’s all Wall Street. It’s government of Wall Street, by Wall Street and for Wall Street. There’s nobody from heavy industry. There’s nobody from the auto sector, nobody from silicon valley, nobody from big oil, nobody from defense. No labor, no women, no retirees, no small business, nothing. It’s pure Wall Street. The only people who have a voice in Obama’s councils are Wall Street finance oligarchs. That’s all there is. Nobody else counts for anything under Obama. It’s the most extreme Wall Street administration we’ve ever had.

In the real executive power structure the President serves the military industrial complex, itself owned by the international bankers. If there’s a revolution the population just throws out the Prime Minister or the President. The elite stays in power because the public is never aware of who the real enemy is. In Evian France, in 1991 standing before the Bilderberg group, the apex of the world power structure David Rockefeller defined the New World Order as a system of world government serving the international banking elite. For decades the banker owned media would attack anyone who dared to warn the public that a dictatorial world government was being constructed right under their nose and that national sovereignty was being destroyed. And now, after years of denial, the media and the elite themselves are proudly announcing that, not only is world government real, but is the answer to the financial crisis that they engineered.

People that are knowledgeable know that the fight that this country has been waging since its inception is for the central bankers NOT to take over the country. And that’s why people like Andrew Jackson were elected. And that’s why people revere people like Thomas Jefferson and others. The takeovers happen. and it’s a corporate takeover. And it was something that Abraham Lincoln warned. And this is, by the way, why I believe he was assassinated. This is the Lincoln quote:

The banking act that was put in place in the 1930′s so that banks couldn’t become the bankers they’ve become. Geithner (Timothy Geithner) from the treasury department – can you imagine that? Now we have a U.S. Treasury Secretary who also is a Robert Rubin protege of the Larry Summers group that dismantled Glass-Steagall and broke apart the regulations that would have prohibited the banks and brokerages from becoming these criminals. He was the former president of the New York Federal Reserve, and now he’s our Treasury Secretary? As we all know, the Federal Reserve is as federal as Federal Express. It’s a private bank. And now we’ve put this guy in charge of it? Wall Street has hijacked Washington in broad daylight.

Obama pledged in hundreds of speeches and interviews that within six months of the election he was going to bring our troops home from Iraq. But after he was inaugurated, the story changed. Now he said that they would look at bringing SOME of the troops home in 16 months. Two weeks later his story had changed again. now the administration would look at bringing the troops home in 23 months.

Next he sent 30,000 more marines to Afghanistan, doubling the total number of forces in the cross hairs. Barack then announced that he was going to move missile systems into Eastern Europe to encircle Russia. But after all what should we expect after he kept Bush’s Secretary of Defense Robert Gates.

Barack Obama swore that he would vote to repeal the Patriot Act. But then he voted for its reauthorization. Obama decried the Bush administrations illegal warrantless wiretapping of the American people, then he voted to legalize it.

Candidate Obama told desperate factory workers in speech after speech, that he was going to renegotiate NAFTA and GATT to make it more fair for American workers. But then his campaign was caught sending out memos to top corporate leaders telling them not to worry and that it was just campaign rhetoric.

The people of the United States and the world were filled with hope that Obama was the real deal, but in his first week in office he signed an executive order supposedly closing Guantanamo Bay and other secret prisons. Then the press actually had a chance to read the executive order and were shocked to find that the executive order only said that Obama was thinking about closing Guantanamo in a year. But worst of all the executive order continued the practice of rendition, which the LA Times called secret abductions.

Obama is now continuing the practice of secret arrests, secret prisons, and most importantly indefinite detention without trial. When a British high court said that it was prepared to release secret British and U.S. torture orders that prove that the Bush administration was ordering personnel to systematically abuse detainees, Barack Obama threatened to cut off all U.S. intelligence ties to England. To add insult to injury he stated that the program was important enough to national security, not only endorsing Bush’s crimes, but continuing them.

If the makers of this film attempted to cover all of Obama’s lies this documentary would never be released because there are new ones everyday. So in the interest of time we’re going to cover one more big one. Barack and his handlers made the cornerstone of his campaign keeping lobbyists and donors out of his administration. Within hours of being elected, Obama did a 180 and filled the White House and federal government with lobbyists and donors at all levels. Obama picked William Lynn, the top lobbyist for Raytheon to fill the number two position at the Department of Defense. Timothy Geithner, former President of the private Federal Reserve bank of New York was picked by Obama to be Secretary of Treasury. Geithner promptly crowned the treasury department full of lobbyists, like his chief of staff Mark Patterson, formerly the top lobbyist at Goldman Sacs. Obama appointed top lobbyist to the Saudi royal family, George Mitchell, as the lead middle eastern envoy. Obama appointed the king of Wall Street lobbyists Leon Panetta to head up the CIA. Obama tapped Tom Daschle lobbyist for healthcare firms to run the Department of Health and Human Services, and the list goes on and on.

Throughout it’s passage, President Bush and Senator Obama worked in tandem to get Congress to pass the bill, without even having time to read it, despite the fact that in major polls 98% of American people were against the bill. The leadership in both parties were for it.

…but gun confiscation is exactly what happened during the state of emergency, following Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. U.S. troops also arrives. Something far easier to do even now thanks to last year’s elimination of the 1878 Posse Comitatus Act. That forbid U.S. troops from policing on American soil. If martial law were enacted here at home, like depicted in the movie The Siege, easing public fears and quelling dissent would be critical, and that’s exactly what “the cleargy response team” as it’s called helped accomplish in New Orleans. Such clergy response teams would walk a tightrope between the needs of the government verses the wishes of the public.

Most Americans would agree that it would be prudent
to have a plan to provide for the continuity of government and the rule of law
in case of a devastating terrorist attack or natural disaster,
a plan to provide for the cooperation, the coordination and continued functioning
of all three branches of the government. The Bush administration tells us they
have such a plan. They have introduced a little sketchy public version that is clearly inadequate
and doesn’t really tell us what they have in mind, but they said, don’t worry;
there’s a detailed classified version.
But now they’ve denied the entire Homeland Security Committee of the United States House of Representatives access to their so-called detailed plan to provide for continuity of government.
They say, trust us.
Trust us, the people who brought us Katrina, to be competent in the face of a disaster?
Trust us?The people who brought us warrantless wiretapping and other excesses eroding our civil liberties?
Trust us?Maybe the plan just really doesn’t exist and that’s why they won’t show it to us. I don’t know. Or maybe there’s something there that’s outrageous.The American people need their elected representatives to review this plan for the continuity of government. -Congressman Peter DeFazio
