Some state governments passed measures to forcibly quarantine residents, incarcerate those who refuse to be vaccinated, and to forcibly vaccinate your children. Legislation like this passed during the much hyped H1N1 flu outbreak.

Police State 4: The Rise of FEMA – Alex Jones
In 1986, under Rex 84, they opened 12 secret army camps to test if they could keep them secret while they held federal, now they hold state prisoners as well. Federal prisoners would then be given a few years off their sentence if they agreed to not tell family about it, and to go to the labor camps.
America’s Shadow Government by John Whitehead
The idea of putting people in detention camps is not so far fetched. Because several years ago, a subsidiary of the Haliburton Corporation, which has done a lot of the private contract work, and made a lot of money off the tax payers backs in so called rebuilding Iraq – was given a $385 Million contract to build concentration or detention camps in this country, supposedly for, and this has been the argument for illegal aliens or illegal immigrants and those kind of people, but the language is so vague in the contract that it could mean anyone even people who are politically opposed, who exercise their free speech rights, either on the internet or through demonstrating or whatever, they could be considered a dangerous individual and be put in one of these detention camps.
FEMA Trained Pastors for Martial Law in America – Continuity of Government
…but gun confiscation is exactly what happened during the state of emergency, following Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. U.S. troops also arrives. Something far easier to do even now thanks to last year’s elimination of the 1878 Posse Comitatus Act. That forbid U.S. troops from policing on American soil. If martial law were enacted here at home, like depicted in the movie The Siege, easing public fears and quelling dissent would be critical, and that’s exactly what “the cleargy response team” as it’s called helped accomplish in New Orleans. Such clergy response teams would walk a tightrope between the needs of the government verses the wishes of the public.
Continuity of Government and Martial Law In The United States
Martial law is defined as the rule by military authorities imposed on a civilian population. According to an article in the Army Times last month, the administration’s threats of implementing martial law in not idle talk. In this shocking article, the U.S. Army admits they’re bringing a combat team back from Iraq to continue their mission in America. And that this combat team will be assigned to NORTHCOM to assist in “civil unrest and crowd control” through non lethal weaponry. This deployment is of course in direct violation of longstanding laws, known as Posse Comitatus and the Insurrection Act which strictly prohibit the U.S. Army from policing American citizens on American soil.
NRA: The Untold Story of Gun Confiscation After Katrina
I was standing at the back with my hands in the air… automatic rifle pointed at you you don’t have much choice. I mean they didn’t just have them pointed from their hip, I mean they had them up at their shoulder pointed, ya know. I mean they weren’t playing. They asked where we were going… so they said ok we’re seizing these weapons… they didn’t care what you rights were, they were going to deny them. It’s not America as we’ve known it before, it’s changing.
