@ Richard Austin, Just one thought re: criticism of other people’s spelling. Your response is for “Mike”, but your comment seems to be directed at “Legend”. To each his own. My impression of Legend’s response is that it seems to me that he or she is bilingual, or even multi-lingual. That would give him or her an advantage. This IS the World Wide Web, www. So not everyone is going to have a perfect command of the English language, be it in writing, OR expression. That is something we should all keep in mind, and be careful not to use that as a judgement for retaliation against someone who’s views offend your belief system. Healthy debates may be insightful, but pardon my observation that you look like someone who responded only to “preach”. This is a great website. You may find the video “Kymatica” interesting. It does a great job at defining how we avoid dealing with the darkness of our own souls by attacking those who challenge the socially popular views of who or how we should believe. It is healthy to question ourselves as to where and why we put our faith without asking ourselves why.

Hurting people hurt people so it is obvious his feelings was hurt because he felt his belief system was attacked. However if his belief system was fortified with logic and truth, righteousness and love then he would not have felt any sense of offense. David, God was an alien and still is. If you would have read the Bible, it makes lots of references to “heaven”. Well, God doesn’t jump from cloud to cloud. This video was pretty interesting, but frankly I’m a little appalled that the creator of the video and so many commenters here know so little about science.
Luchia: Amoebas didn’t crawl out from the land, nor did one-celled organisms magically become all the lifeforms we see today. It’s called evolution, and there’s a shitload of scientific evidence to support it, so educate yourself. It’s not a coincidence that modern birds and reptiles (and some fish) bear striking resemblances to dinosaurs, nor is it a coincidence that we are so closely related to primates.
Personally, I think evolution makes Earth’s history all the more fascinating, but by all means remain willfully ignorant.

Yes religion was fabricated as u say. Fabricated in such a way to divide man and stray them from the truth. The bible we know today is incomplete. I personally like the book of Matthew and Luke the best, these disciples, among other actually lived. They are not fictional characters. His coming was predicted in the old testament, the Jews did not believe in him and he was a threat and crucified. Also predicted in the old testament, then Christ rose from the dead three days later and ascended into heaven and who so ever believe in Jesus Christ, shall be forgiven of his sins and eligible to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. That is the Good News of the bible.

The Old testament, a history book is a chronologically recording from Adam down through the ages, to King David and then to the birth of Christ. Each generation is documented to the birth of Christ. If you seek you will find, when you find you will be amazed. It will speak to you, yes it mentions the Giants, yes some books were left out on purpose, yes there are coordinating texts from other ancient civilizations. Yes there was a beginning and yes there will be an end with the return of Christ.

If you read Matthew 21, this chapter illustrates Christ with his disciples and they ask him, “what will be the signs of your return?” Christ gave very specific signs to watch for and he said when you see all of these things happening know that my coming in near….earthquakes in many places, tossing of the oceans, uprisings, famine, rumors of war, nations in distress, Christians being persecuted for his name sake, we cant even say Merry Christmas any more and on and on…Christ said just as in the days of Noah, before he closed the doors on the ark there were mockers and so it will be at my return.

The Rapture is near, we know the Lords Prayer, Our Father who art in heaven, they Kingdom Come…that is the rapture and all you need to do is believe in the name of the Lord. Once that happens, the Angels will pour out seven more vials on the earth and there will be seven years of tribulation such as the world has not seen in its history nor ever will again. Those who are dead in Christ along with the living believers will be raptured and spared, those non believers will be stuck down here to endure. A third of the world will be burned, a third of the oceans will be destroyed, a third of mankind will be killed during this period.
