And just to give you an idea of what the Sumerians knew as far as it comes to our solar system, they depicted a solar system with twelve members, not just nine. An odd six-sided honeycomb shaped feature circling the entire north pole of Saturn has captured the interest of scientists with NASA’s Cassini mission. NASA’s Voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft imaged the feature over two decades ago. The fact that it has appeared in Cassini images indicates that it is a long-lived feature. A second hexagon, significantly brighter historical feature, is also visible in the Cassini pictures.

Therefore I am very happy that when today astronomers look for this planet they call it planet X. They mean maybe the unknown planet, but it’s also the 10th planet. And they say that this planet, the 12th member of our solar system, has a very large orbit of 3600 years it comes between Mars and Jupiter close to us.

There is another very interesting phenomenon that occurs around December 25th or the winter solstice. From the summer solstice to the winter solstice the days become shorter and colder, and from the prospective of the northern hemisphere the sun appears to move south and get smaller and more scarce. The shortening of the days and the expiration of the crops, when approaching the winter solstice, symbolize the process of death to the ancients. It was the death of the sun. And by December 22nd the sun’s demise was fully realized for the sun having moved south continually for 6 months makes it to its lowest point in the sky. Here a curious thing occurs.
