And just to give you an idea of what the Sumerians knew as far as it comes to our solar system, they depicted a solar system with twelve members, not just nine. They counted the nine planets that we know of plus the sun, our moon, and an additional planet called Nibiru, which meant ‘planet of the crossing’. Now this planet and the stories behind it are very interesting because the Sumerians very clearly described that these beings, the Annunaki, their living gods, came from this planet called Nibiru.

There is another very interesting phenomenon that occurs around December 25th or the winter solstice. From the summer solstice to the winter solstice the days become shorter and colder, and from the prospective of the northern hemisphere the sun appears to move south and get smaller and more scarce. The shortening of the days and the expiration of the crops, when approaching the winter solstice, symbolize the process of death to the ancients. It was the death of the sun. And by December 22nd the sun’s demise was fully realized for the sun having moved south continually for 6 months makes it to its lowest point in the sky. Here a curious thing occurs. The sun stops moving south…at least perceivably for 3 days… and during this 3 day pause, the sun resides int the vicinity of the southern cross, or crux, constellation. the mystery of this map is it shows Antarctica as it looks underneath the ice long before Antarctica is even suppose to have been discovered and perhaps the greatest mystery of all is that it shows the Antarctic peninsula not as it looks today, covered by more than a mile of ice, but as it actually looks underneath that covering of ice. Now we ourselves have only known what the land under the antarctic peninsula looks like since 1958 when seismic surveys were taken across the ice cap…the clearest deduction of all is, whoever drew up those maps thousands of years ago, had a level of technology as high as our own. They had explored the whole globe from north to south and from east to west. So this is testimony of an advanced and as of yet unidentified civilization in remote prehistory.
