America already has a Gulag Archipelago of prisons, which outnumber any other country in the world. America has had a huge increase in prisoners since the 1970’s. There has also been a huge increase in the number of privately owned prisons. The more people they put in prison, the more profits they make. Under martial law, they will make much larger profits still.
